The Thirteen Moons quilts are my reaction to finding myself the lone female in a family of males. I'm very aware that I keep time differently from my husband and sons. Women respond to the ebb and flow of our bodies, a balance between the organic cycles of life on earth and the pull of the moon in the heavens.
